This pattern by Lina Olofsson has a zipper front and hoodie that’s perfect for cold winter nights. The best part about this design is it has boys matching pattern for Dad and son sweater gifts. This pattern is available in English and Swedish the English version is about $6 bucks but I think it’s definitely worth it.

I had to choose this pattern by Maddy Cranley it’s perfect for the whole family. It comes in 3 children’s sizes and 4 adult patterns. Men’s knit sweater patterns are not usually what I knit. Like a lot of women I knit for babies and kids, but I really wanted there to be an assortment of patterns for everyone. It’s time to step out of our comfort zones and try something new as with this sweater Erik by Julie Weisenberger. I have a little trouble with gauge and staying on point with it. I may start out ok and then by the end the sweaters too wide. I have to be super careful and check constantly. Still, I love the idea of knitting all these sweaters perfectly for everyone in my family.

Erik by Julie Weisenberger

A modern flair for any man is this great design by Erik by Julie Weisenberger. With the zipper off to the side really makes this sweater stylish. A really great feature is it also comes with a hoodie for windy days. Add a colorful zipper makes this sweater pop but you could go more neutral as well. The pattern runs $8 but for such a modern look I say “yes” to the sweater.

How about a classic cardigan by Alexandra Charlotte Dafoe with cables throughout and a roll back v-neck collar. I’m not sure if that’s a thing but sounds good to me. I love and I mean love this sweater especially in the tweed color. Knit in a lightweight wool makes this beautiful to look at and easy to wear, light and warm for indoors and outdoors. This one runs about $5.44. The best part there’s a sweater for her. Why not make one for him and then one for yourself.
